| Just been in the bookies , Sam Tompkins 2/1 favourite. Whilst I think he may win it , aren't these odds a little too short ???

| No not really. He'd probably steal it if they awarded it to someone else anyway.

| The journalists have already decided before the game KO that ST is going to win it. I hope they really watch the game and chose the right person rather than their golden boy. If he is the best on the pitch then fair enough but they shouldn't just decide its him just because they think he's always good.

I was talking about this to a lad at work and he said if Leeds win it will because Buderus has had a blinder. What odds is he?

| 2/1 seems a bit daft.
Finch is pulling all the strings for Wigan at the moment, think he's got every chance and if Leeds are in with a shout tomorrow, Buderus needs to have a great game.

| The Lance Todd Trophy award is usually awarded to somebody who did something "stand out" etc a 50 yard brake etc, i doubt the people who choose the winner would even consider players who could have had massive impact on a game such as Buderus, Peacock, O'Loughlin, Sinfield etc as they wouldn't recognise the part they played in the overall scheme of things.
S.Tomkins, BJB , Richard or McGuire for the Lance Todd Trophy imho.

This argument is somewhat undermined by the fact that Sinfield won the trophy in 2005 while playing for the losing side
