Bring it on 

Really disappointed today. A couple of scores in that first 20 and it could have been a different story. I'm glad we got some points on the board, but we've got a long way to go before we're challenging, which we knew before we kicked a ball today. 

If we've signed who we think we've signed and sign a centre (or two) and a backrower then I don't think we are that far away. We were very average and forgettable in 2015 and look what happened with the right new additions.

Nobody is making Rapana a scapegoat but he's made a few errors at crucial times so far such as the knock on at the play the ball today when it looked we were in the ascendancy and about to score.



If he can iron them out he's a great addition to the squad. A bit like Pritchard in the way he could lift the team with his enthusiasm.

I thought for the first 20 minutes we competed well and for me that was the crucial timeframe to keep them out as HKR are always fast starters and i really thought we were in with a chance.
apart from our errors what was obvious was just how much a bit of quality in the centre and second row is.
we couldnt handle Hiku and Tanginoa and their line speed compared to ours was chalk and cheese.
Need to get another second row in sharpish.
Think we will beat them in the derby game 

 if they had played it could have been worse
