How come you were in? Did they approach you and tell you they were running a story

The YEP have been running exclusives on unemployment all week and they conted me along with a bunch of other people. Obviously I didn’t want the bad news published in the papers as anyone wouldn’t. But I understand that the YEP wanted it so I reluctantly went along and told them my story. It’s out there and it’ll soon become history.

The fish and chips will be wrapped in that by Monday

The YEP should cover real news stories.
Not many people are interested in excuses from dossers bleating on about lack of jobs.
It's been covered before, but jobs are there, if you want work & not fussy & lazy with delusions of landing the perfect job.

Right, writing this briefly before my 9am-6pm shift and then my 10pm to4am shift, and 11am to 4pm shift tomorrow (what a great weekend I have in store).




I know a polish girl who is working at asda cleaning just 6am to 7:30am every morning. She was desperate for work and and now works in a wharehouse in castleford. She's a very intelligent girl, but at the same time she knows that if she is to stay in UK where her sister and her family live, then that is what she has to do....work.

I can get the details for you Damo, and I'm sure by the end of the week you will be in employment...Just let me know. I also know 2 other wharehouse jobs going at the morrisons distribution site on M1 Junction 41. I'm sure there may be closer ones to home for you, but these are the jobs I know going at the moment.

Reading between the lines, the way I read it is that it shows that you live a comfortable life without working, but you just get alittle fed up with the jibes of unemployment, that's about it.

I'll find you a job myself, because I'm sick of reading this sh11t.

Was almost on your side until this bit, not much money but what you do have lets spend it on drink. Let me guess "you deserve a drink to unwind cos of the stress and effort". Maybe its because i'm not a huge drinker but when i hear people complain they have little to no money and then go spend a chunk of it on alcohol it annoys the hell out of me.

I heard an interesting discussion on the radio last week, part of it related to the need for some people, through social media, to share every part of their lives and thoughts with everyone. In my opinion it's not healthy. I think you are probably an okay kid but your desire to share this stuff with people who have already expressed their opinion many times on your employment situation is misguided. I think deep down you believe that one day you'll post something like this and convert everyone. I don't believe anyone (other than Dally) enjoys abuse day after day.
My advice would be talk about rl, comment on stuff on the sin bin, but this is NOT the place to open up your personal life for everyone to comment on.
Do that in person to friends and family who can take it in the context of caring about you.

The ignore user function is an easy way to deal with this attention-seeker.
