Do we accept that even with a few more wins we will be in the bottom 4 and tailor the rest of our season accordingly ie.resting unfit players, bringing through sensible replacements?
All four bottom Super league clubs and top four championship clubs will start on zero points ,we don,t need to be going into these must win games carrying injuries and using novice replacements.
Is the sensible thing therefore to get the team to start the build up towards the end of the current SL rounds?

The sensible thing is to aim to win every game we play, not admit defeat with a third of the opening part of the season gone.

As poor as we are we are still only 3 points off the top 8. There are still 15 more games before the split no need to think about resting players just yet.

If we start compromising, then it will be come acceptable.

We just need to change the Coach now and bring someone in who can organise the team and bring a positive attitude.

Things will become more clear after our next three games. If we lose to Widnes and Wakefield then I fear for the club and where we are heading. If we beat the latter two then we are looking a little more healthy

The Wakefield game is postponed due to the Cup, so our next few SL games are Saints (a), Widnes (h), Huddersfield (h), Salford (h).

If we finish 7th or 8th the remaining games for us will be dead rubbers, no chance of making the top 4 and the playoffs. Always thought this was a flaw in the new set up. At least the middle 8's will be critical games and every one will count. I'd still rather finish in the top 8, but the middle 8's will certainly be butt clinchingly tense.
